Ferraris map

The Ferraris map is of the Austrian Netherlands. It was created between 1770 and 1778 by the count Joseph de Ferraris . The map includes 275 sheets, which have all been digitised with the help of the National Geographic Institute. It is a military document made in three copies and whose original scale was 1/11 520. The map is entirely hand drawn and was created from topological surveys. The details in this image can be found on: sheet 81 "Charlorio".
