Charlotte Square, Edinburgh. Looking west across the square towards the dome of West Register house with the equestrian statue of Prince Albert by Sir John Steell in the centre of the square. West Register House (formerly St George's Church) was designed by Robert Reid and completed in 1814, most of the rest of the square was designed by Robert Adam in 1791 which was the last year of his life.
