A glass Christmas ornament in the form of a
teddy bear
, wearing a scarf. Purchased (probably from Woolworths) in Birmingham, England in December 1959. It is 75mm tall, not including the loop.
This was purchased by the photographer's parents for their first Christmas as husband and wife, named "Claude", and had pride of place on the family Christmas tree every year until 2017. In December 2018 he was sadly found to be broken when taken out of storage.
