Coat_of_arms_of_Báthory_family_(1645).svg

Summary

Description
English: Variant of the Báthory family's heraldic badge ("wolf's teeth"), which were a regular feature on Transylvanian seals and coinage during the early 17th century. Still used by the Blaeu cartographers as the coat of arms of the Principality of Transylvania in 1645; by then, however, Transylvania no longer used the Báthory emblem on its coats of arms.
