Summary
Description Comanche Gap Shield Warrior.jpg | Comanche Gap Shield Warrior. These two shield figures are among my favorite petroglyphs. They are on a large volcanic dike on a private ranch in the Galisteo Basin. I went on one of the rare tours there in 2004. Polly Schaafsma suggests they represent war among the peoples of the area. |
