Description County Flag of Berkshire (commercial version).png |
A version of the County Flag of Berkshire, as it commonly appears at county faires and various flag stores( [1] , [2] ). Other flags for Berkshire exist, such as the version flown outside the Department for Communities and Local Government and a privately proposed version . This version is simillar to the former Berkshire County Council's coat of arms, and is composed of two blue lions passant (referencing Berkshire's Royal and Norman connections) and a Saxon Crown (referencing Berkshire's formative Saxon history). |
