Description
English: From left: John Storey, Alf Hinds (storekeeper), Jack Hinds (storekeeper), G. H. Cook (schoolmaster), Mr Rumpt (hotel keeper), Fred Manitzky (blacksmith).
The saurian was in good condition and its stomach contained corn and several ducks and small turtles. (Description supplied with photograph)
Note: Although the photograph was taken near Logan Village, the carcass having floated up river, the shooting took place further down at Waterford West near Melliodora Road .
