This hand-made cutwork embroidery is stitched on a pillowcase made of coarse fabric. It depicts a flock of birds surrounded by a girland of roses. The coarse fabric itself is most likely sack cloth woven for transportation of grain, sugar, or the like, now worn and darkened after having been fabricated in the post-war period approx. 70-75 years ago.

Diese Richelieu Handstickerei befindet sich auf einer Seite eines Kissenbezugs aus grobem Stoff. Es stellt eine Vogelschar innerhalb eines Kranzes aus Rosenblüten dar. Der grobe Stoff wurde mit ziemlicher Wahrscheinlichkeit in der Nachkriegszeit, also vor 70-75 Jahren, aus einem Transportsack für Getreide, Zucker o. Ä. herausgeschnitten. Der Stoff ist in der Zwischenzeit nachgedunkelt und abgenutzt.

- Stellt eine Vogelschar innerhalb eines Kranzes aus Rosenblüten dar.
- In Handarbeit hergestellt.
- Der Kissenbezug besteht aus grobem Stoff, wahrscheinlich aus einem Transportsack ausgeschnitten.
- Das eingesetzte Kissen wird von zwei recht kleinen Perlmuttknöpfen gehalten, die an einer Stoffleiste auf der unteren Rückseite befesteigt sind.
- Alter geschätzt auf 70-75 Jahre, jetzt abgenutzt und nachgedunkelt.
- Aufgenommen in März 2021 in Aplerbeck, Dortmund, Deutschland.
