Deutsch:
In dem im Jahre 1922 von der Gemeinde im Benehmen mit der Archivdirektion Stuttgart festgelegten Wappen bezieht sich das Schwert auf den ehemaligen Besitz des gleichnamigen Ortsadels und verschiedener anderer ritterlicher Geschlechter, während der Abtsstab die früheren geistlichen Besitzer am Ort, vor allem aber das Kloster Lorch, repräsentiert. Das Landratsamt Ostalbkreis hat die Flagge am 18. Februar 1981 verliehen.
