Summary

Description
English: A model of a DNA tetrahedron . Each edge of the tetrahedron is a 20bp DNA duplex, and each vertex is a three-arm junction. In this model each basepair is represented by five pseudo-atoms, representing the two sugars, the two phosphates, and the major groove. The scale bar is 1 nm.

This is a model of the ligated version of a DNA tetrahedron with six 20bp edges, as described in Goodman, R.P.; Schaap, I.A.T.; Tardin, C.F.; Erben, C.M.; Berry, R.M.; Schmidt, C.F.; Turberfield, A.J. (9 December 2005). "Rapid chiral assembly of rigid DNA building blocks for molecular nanofabrication". Science 310 (5754): 1661–1665. DOI : 10.1126/science.1120367 . ISSN 0036-8075 .

I made the model myself using Nanoengineer-1 which is software available under a GPL license. This model uses the PAM5 representation.
