en: The "Spandauer" usually contains a squirt of cremé patissiere (pastry creme). Variations is seen with fruit jelly instead. Usually apple or prunes in Denmark. If glazed, 'Spandauer's are always glazed with unflavoured white icing. This particular Danish pastry, is what is often meant by 'a Danish' in America.

"Snails" are traditionally cinnamon rolls made of Danish pastry dough, containing a cinnamon flavoured cremé remonce. These however, contains chocolate instead and no cinnamon. en: Most likely a kind of Danish called 'Hanekam' ("cockscomb". Also seen referred to as "sugar comb" in English). Hanekam is made of Danish pastry dough with cremé remonce and sprinkeled with confectioners sugar and slivered hazelnuts. They are often shaped and decorated to imitate a cocks comb somewhat.
