Kouwenhoven, Columbia Historical Portrait of New York , 1953, p. 448. The picture credit in that volume is "Byron Collection, Museum of City of New York." The Byron Company was a commercial photography studio in New York, the museum obtained the pictures for the "Byron Collection" in 1942 when the studio closed. |
