Inscriptions à l'encre brune, au bas : « Diane de Poitiers, 2e femme de Louis de Brézé Grand Senechal de / Normandie, créée Duchesse de Valentinois par Henri II en 1548 / LA.GRANT.SENECHALE ». L'inscription en capitales est du XVI e siècle, celle en italique est postérieure.
