English: A U.S. Navy Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless covering the landings at Tanahmerah Bay, Hollandia, Papua New Guinea. Landing craft are heading toward Red Beach 2. Despite unfavorable weather, the U.S. Navy Task Force 58 managed to maintain planes on air alert over the Hollandia area.
