A house completely swept off its foundation north of Keota, Iowa by a violent EF4 tornado on March 31, 2023. The National Weather Service rated this damage EF4 on the Enhanced Fujita scale with an estimated windspeed of 170 miles per hour. The National Weather Service also added the following comment about this damage location: “House swept from foundation.”
