The
Embassy of the Philippines
' former chancery is located at 1617 Massachusetts Avenue NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Constructed in 1913 for John Sidney Webb, the building was designed by
Appleton P. Clark Jr.
, and is a contributing property to the
Dupont Circle Historic District
. It served as the Embassy of the Philippines from 1946 to 1993 (the new embassy is located across the street), but is still owned by the Filipino government.
