Summary

Description
English: Empty yeast tray in supermarket in Odense, Denmark on March 17, 2020.

Following prime minister Mette Frederiksen's announcement of a general lockdown, there was a widespread hoarding of yeast, despite yeast having a relatively short shelf-life. The shop in question was otherwise quite well-supplied; in particular, there was no shortage of toilet paper.

Dansk: Tom gærbakke i odenseansk supermarked, 17. marts 2020.
