Summary

Description
English: Corona Bar, Crossmyloof , at the location of the original village, at the junction between Langside Avenue and Pollockshaws Road in Glasgow . The 1912 building by James. H. Craigie of the Glasgow architects Clarke and Bell is on the site of earlier pubs – it claims to have been established in 1817. Tiling on the doorstep and plaster image above the doorways show a cross on the palm of a hand, supposedly the origin of the name of the village. Reference: Blaikie, Gerald (2-18).
