, Cundinamarca (Colombia), concedido por el rey Carlos I de España por medio de la Real Cédula dada en Valladolid el 7 de febrero de 1549:

Escudo español con fondo en plata (blanco), biselado de sable (negro) en el que hay un águila bicéfala. En la parte inferior, entre las garras del águila, una cinta de gules (roja) y en oro está escrito el nombre del municipio: "TOCAIMA". El cuerpo del escudo está sobre un fondo con los mismos colores de la bandera formando un borde con el siguiente letrero: "Hidalga y Noble, Ciudad Salud de Colombia". Las letras que están sobre el fondo amarillo, tienen letras de color gris y viceversa. La franja de color azur (azul) y sabre divide el escudo por la mitad en representación de las aguas del legendario río Patí. |
