A 1961 FN FAL battle rifle with a flash supressor. This specimen was used by the Swedish Army Administration between 1960 and 1964 for evaluation. In the end, the Heckler & Koch G3 (
Automatkarbin 4
) was selected as the new service rifle for the Swedish Armed Forces in 1964. The rifle was donated to the Swedish Army Museum in 1978.
