The original flag created by Manuel Belgrano in 1812, which is also supposed to be used by Argentine army during the battles for the independence. This flag was the "minor flag" until 1985 when the promulgation of
Law 23.208/85
stated that the
Sol de Mayo
should be included in all the national flags of Argentina, without exceptions.
