According to the post: "Inspired from Norway's flag, because the town was predominantly Norwegian when it was founded. The middle stripe represents the single road that has always the main way in and out of town. This two white stripes symbolize the railroad tracks it used to be. The star represents the city itself, which the road passes directly through the center." |
