Forgednote.jpg

Summary

Description
English: An Operation Bernhard forgery of the Bank of England five pound note. This is a picture of a forged Bank of England banknote from between 1942 and 1945. It is used to illustrate and comment on a forgery committed by Nazi Germany. This advances an educational purpose and does not affect the value of the legitimate banknote's copyright, because that note is no longer in circulation. Inclusion in any other article is not fair use.
