English: Former High Market and Civic Hall, Exeter "One of the best market buildings of its date", according to Cherry & Pevsner. It dates from 1834, The central pedimented entrance is seen in 372462 . Led Zeppelin played the civic hall in 1968 just as they were transmogrifying from the Yardbirds. The hall came down two years later. Only the facades remain - modern shops have been built within.
