Description Garden rollers.jpg	English: Two garden rollers against a brick wall with museum information signs on their handles, at Hill Close Gardens, Warwick. Information panels read: Left: Garden Roller Sold to Burgis and Colburne Ltd, a large department store in nearby Leamington Spa. It became part of an Army and Navy Ltd in 1963. Ultimately, Rackhams/House of Fraser. The roller was probably cast at the Portobello Foundry in Warwick (Pottertons). Rollers were often made locally and many survive, despite the need for scrap metal in World War 2. Right: Ironcrete roller Basically a metal drum filled with concrete. Used in springtime for rolling lawns and gravel paths which may have risen due to winter frost heave. Ironcrete also made metal wheelbarrows and hose reels.
