The ongoing demolition of the old Giresun Atatürk Stadium in Giresun on Saturday, Mar 27, 2021. Giresun Atatürk Stadium was built in 1941. Since 1967, it has served as the home arena of Giresunspor. The stadium closed in the 2020/2021 season, being succeeded by the new Çotanak Arena at Aksu, which was completed in 2021 and became Giresunspor's home field beginning in the second half of 2021 TFL season. Demolition of the stadium commenced in February 2021.
