Description Grand Trunk outer station ruins - Kingston.jpg | A view of the original 1850s w:Grand Trunk Railway outer station in w:Kingston, Ontario from trackside, an angle at which it would be seen by passengers arriving from Toronto from 1859-1974. The CN mainline was relocated further north in 1976, stranding the former station off the line. Designated in 1994 as a heritage railway station under the federal w:Heritage Railway Stations Protection Act and left to rot by the w:Canadian National Railway , the roof was damaged by a 1996 fire and never replaced. |
