Summary
Description Great Bridgeford railway station (site) (geograph 3382868).jpg |
English:
Great Bridgeford railway station (site)
Opened in 1837 by the Grand Junction Railway on the line from Stafford to Crewe, this station closed to passengers in 1949 and completely in 1959. View south east. Only the widening between the tracks gives a clue. From old maps, there appear to have been four platforms. |
