Description IWM caption : The damaged HMS NABOB proceeding homewards under her own steam, her stern low down in the water. She was hit by a torpedo during an operation in northern waters. Despite her damaged condition, NABOB turned homeward with a skeleton crew and reached her base after sailing 1070 miles at a steady ten knots.
