The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) held a briefing on 11 February 2020 for the members of the diplomatic corps and international organizations on the Philippine government’s efforts and guidelines to ensure public health safety amid the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Acute Respiratory Disease (2019-nCoV ARD). Health Assistant Secretary Maria Rosario S. Vergeire of the Public Health Services Team of the DOH, gave a presentation on the latest developments in the 2019-nCoV ARD cases in the Philippines as well as the Philippine government’s measures and protocols to address the disease.
