The old Hecht Company Warehouse located at 1401 New York Avenue, NE in the Ivy City neighborhood of Washington, D.C. It was designed by Abbott, Merkt & Co. in 1937 and is an example of Streamline Moderne architecture. In 1986, the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
