Intrare la ședința Divanului ad-hoc
("Entrance to the ad-hoc Divan", i. e. the legislative assembly of Moldavia). Satirical ink drawing by one of the Divan delegates. The mock allegory shows allegories such as a nude woman holding up a flag (presumably a variant of the Romanian tricolor), the heraldic aurochs of Moldavia, and a cityscape (of Iași?). At the center, two soldiers in ceremonial uniform guard a door marked
Entrée des députés
("Deputies' Entrance"); the deputies themselves are pictured to the right, queuing in front of the door marked "Buffet".
