Summary
Description Henry Bradley Plant Water Fountain.JPG |
English:
Directly across from the front entrance of the
Henry B. Plant Museum
(originally known as the
Tampa Bay Hotel
), and within a traffic circle along the cobblestone driveway within the
University of Tampa
is an elaborate water fountain bearing the full name of the original founder of the Tampa Bay Hotel, as well as the
Savannah, Florida and Western Railway
("Plant System"), a predecessor to the
Atlantic Coast Line Railroad
. This is one of the rare instances where Plant's full name is on display.
