Description
English: Herbert Horowitz was deputy chief of mission in Beijing, China, from 1984 until recently. He was consul general in Sydney, Australia, 1981-1984. He jorned the Foreign Service in 1956 and was assigned as ecnomic officer in Taipei, Taiwan. He returned Washington in 1962 to become economic officer, Office of East Asia and China Affairs. From 1964 to 1965 he was a student Tufts' Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
