Description
English: The Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina by architect Boris Magaš designed in the International Style in 1963. The design received the National Award "Viktor Kovačić" in 1963. On the 8th of November 2012, the building was officially declared a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2018 the Getty Foundation awarded a grant for the conservation of the building as part of its "Keeping it Modern" initiative. In 2019 it featured in the "Concrete Utopia" exhibition at MoMA - the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
