Movie studios in the Hollywood area from the air, as it appeared in 1922. The street near the bottom of the photograph is Melrose. Gower is the intersecting street which goes up to the left. In this corner, Pat Powers, Robertson-Cole, the Film Booking Office and RKO were located. To the right of the photograph near Van Ness, Brunton, United Studio, Famous Players and Paramount are visible. Darmour Studio is in the background, above the Hollywood Cemetary, near Santa Monica Blvd.
