Description

English: Screen shot from a US Government ( NASA ) video clip about Project Mercury . The console is part of an IBM 7090 installation at the Goddard Spaceflight Center in Maryland . It can be distinguished from an IBM 7094 console because it lacks the small box that would be added on the upper-left to display 4 additional index registers. Note the 1/2 inch magnetic tape reels laying on top of the console.
