Summary

Description
English: The full International Phonetic Alphabet as of 2005, including the labiodental flap and (in grey) some ad hoc symbols found in the literature.

The chart has been rearranged from the published version for clarity. For example, all singly articulated pulmonic consonants have been placed in the main chart, rather than being divided between the main chart and 'other'. Symbols used by the IPA for both fricatives and approximants are placed between those two rows.

The font is Gentium Plus , which is freely available online from the Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL). Some of the ad hoc letters are found in Gentium's PUA. (Headers in Candara. Some manual adjustment of the tonal diacritics.)
