Description	English: 97-17421 (December 10, 1997) --- An aluminum bulkhead of the center truss segment test article for the International Space Station completes machining at Boeing facilities in Huntington Beach, California, in October 1997. The bulkheads are coupled with longerons to make up the 43-foot-long center truss segment, designated the S0 truss segment. Nine such segments will eventually make up the 360-foot long truss for the station that will hold the four massive U.S. solar arrays, cooling radiators, associated electronics and batteries, and connecting lines. The S0 truss segment will be anchored atop the U.S. Laboratory module when it is launched in early 2000 on Space Shuttle mission STS-105.
