Le général Blaizot est désigné commandant des Forces Expéditionnaires Françaises en Extrême Orient (F.E.F.E.O.), chef de la mission militaire auprès du South East Asia Command (S.E.A.C.) et délégué militaire du Comité d’action en Indochine. Le F.E.F.E O. devait participer dans le Pacifique à la guerre contre le Japon auprès des Forces alliées et préparer l’arrivée du Corps Expéditionnaire Français (C.E.F.E.O.) qui devait rétablir la souveraineté de la France en Indochine. |
