English:
Place: Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County, Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
Chinese name: 江铃宝典 (jiānglíng bǎodiǎn) Year of launch: ? JMC (Jiangling) was founded in 1952 in Nanchang, Jiangxi as a truck repair shop. Since 1993 Jiangling has a joint venture with Isuzu and Itochu for the production of the Isuzu Faster/Rodeo/TF pick-up and since 1997 Jiangling and Ford started a joint venture for commercial vehicles (Transit). JMC's Baodian pick-up and Baowei SUV are still based on the old Isuzu TF-platform, but since 2010 it has expanded its own-brand line-up with the Yusheng SUVs, which currently consists of the S330 and S350. The Ford Transit Mk2 was heavily revamped for 2017 and renamed JMC Teshun. In some markets the Boadian is known as Boarding. |
