Author | NBC Television. Hope had a variety of sponsors for The Bob Hope Show ; from 1953 to 1955 it was the American Dairy Association. During the 1950s and 1960s it was not unusual for television publicity material to be distributed by an advertising or publicity agency of the network, sponsor or studio. The Bureau of Industrial Service, which was a division of advertising agency Young & Rubicam, was used for this purpose and was used quite frequently by those connected with the television industry. |
