Description
English: This Clock Tower, a gracious gift to the City of Rajkot from His Royal Highness Jam Vibhaji, the erstwhile ruler of Nawanagar State, was originally installed in 1880 and inaugurated By Col. C. Woodhouse, the political agent for kathiawar. The Brass Bell, Weighting 250 Kgs. was installed later in 1887. On 8th February 2008, this tower is rededicated to the City of Rajkot by the Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi, which gracious support from as well as in presence of Jamsaheb Shri Shatrushalya Sinhji Of Nawanagar State.
