This image shows the interior of the Kadavumbhagam Ernakulam Malabar Jewish Synagogue - the Oldest Kerala Malabar Jewish Synagogue still in service. It is of the surviving tradition of the ancient Kerala Malabar Jewish people who came to Kerala over several millennia ago before and during the second temple period. The current structure was constructed in the present site in 1200 CE and has been restored to its present form.
