View of LZ Hammond located along Route 1 north of Qui Nhon. A forward helicopter support area, a C-130 runway and a cantonment area have been constructed by the 8th Engineer Battalion supported by the 19th Engineer Battalion. The area was used most recently in Operation THAYER.
