Egg of the butterfly Leptidea sinapis (or its sibling species L. reali) on a sepal of one of its host plants, Lotus corniculatus.

Scale : egg length = 1.5 mm

Technical settings : 

- focus stack of 30 images
- microscope objective (Nikon achromatic 10x 160/0.25) on bellow (minimum - 70 mm - extension)
