To the memory of the 810 members of the 10th (Service) Battalion - The Lincolnshire Regiment (Grimsby)who were killed in action or died on service and whose names are recorded on the roll below. The 10th Battalion was raised in this town on the 9th September 1914 and was disbanded 3rd June 1919.

The roll of honour is inscribed in plaques made from gun-metal and now stands adjacent to rather than below
