Thence by direct descent to Constant Marie Claude de Namur, Vicomte d'Elzée (b. 1790; married secondly Aimée Christine Leopoldine de Beauffort); Their daughter, Caroline, whose husband adopted the title of Comte de Namur d'Elzée by Royal assent when the earlier line became extinct upon the death of her uncle; Thence by descent; Anonymous sale ("The Property of a Noble Family"), London, Sotheby's, December 13, 2001, lot 24, where acquired by the last owner. |
