Description LunarLaserMLRS.gif	Laser from McDonald Observatory heading towards the Moon. This photo shows the McDonald Observatory shooting a laser at the retroreflectors left by the astronauts and the Russian lunar rovers. This measures the distance to the moon to very high precision, a few cm.
