Zavala Monastery
The Zavala Monastery is located in the immediate vicinity of Popovo Polje. The church relies on the natural cave, and its architecture is conditioned by this position. The church is dedicated to The Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple. The interior of the church is painted with frescoes, which are the work of the famous Hilandar monk Georgije Mitrofanović, a great Serbian painter of the 17th century. In this monastery, novice was St. Basil of Ostrog.

Манастир Завала налази се у непосредној близини Поповог Поља. Црква се наслања на природну пећину, и њен изгед и архитектура условљени су овим положајем. Црква је посвећена ваведењу Пресвете Богородице. Унутрашњост цркве је живописана фрескама, које су рад познатог хиландарског монаха Георгија Митрофановића, великог српског зографа 17. века.
